The bomber jacket, also known as the "flight jacket" or "MA-1 jacket," was originally designed for US Air Force pilots during World War II and has since become an icon. The first jackets were made of leather and lined with wool to keep the pilots warm, but later they became lighter and more functional. We have focused on making a super light version in a strong and soft material. At the same time, it is lightly lined but warmer than you might think. We think it's perfect when the temperature is between 10-20 degrees just with a t-shirt or sweatshirt underneath.

Originally they were made with orange inside to make the pilots more visible in emergency situations. However, we have the choice of our iconic Desert camo flag as a complement to the black. Then you can choose your own look on the day.

Both the name and the details suggest that it is included as a mid layer jacket in our new Modular Combat Layering System (MCLS) with another new addition coming later this year.
