The Platoon jacket is the first real jacket from BIRKE in decades. It is made in the same super light but strong rib-stop material as our SQUADRON anorak. Inside, on the front, we have placed a thin mesh lining that protects you from wind and cold right where the body is most vulnerable. The thin lining immediately protects more than you might think, so the jacket is - with different undercoats - suitable for use all year round. The back and sleeves only consist of the rib-stop material, so that the heat can escape quickly.
We have chosen a simple solution with soft elastic bands in the hood, around the waist and at the wrists, so that the jacket always fits close to the body. As something special, the jacket can be folded into one of the side pockets so that it does not take up more than a small handful.
There is plenty of BIRKE DNA in the jacket. On the left chest is our removable emblem, which is a sign of membership of BIRKE's universe and community, while on the left side of the jacket you will find our unit badge, which is composed of the colors of the Danish flag and the special forces' unit badges.
