Our unique gin is produced by Volsted Distillery, a micro distillery in North Jutland, which
has won a number of international awards.

It is a powerful Navy Strength Gin of 57% alcohol. The story behind the name refers to the British navy back in the 16th century. Here they introduced a quality control where the gin was poured over some gunpowder. If the gunpowder could still ignite, then it was "navy proofed" or simply "navy strength".

It is a classic gin with plenty of spices and juniper berries that give a complex taste that is balanced by citrus. Mix it in a 1:3 ratio with a neutral Indian tonic and a slice of lime.
